Once upon a time
Axel of Fersen, the most handsome Earl of Sweden went to the opera of Paris for the grand royal ball. He approached silently the French queen Marie-Antoinette and whispered: « shall I invite you for a dance? » They started a minuet together and all the guests were filled with wonder at the sight of this beautiful couple. The queen was wearing a dress made of silk brocade adorned with a vast number of frilled ribbons and embroidered braids. She was twirling around at the glimmer of hundred of candles.
